eHarmony single mother

More than 8 million single mothers are raising their children alone in the United States. With Mother's Day fast approaching, eHarmony gift subscriptions are an ideal way to celebrate them with the gift of a lasting relationship.

With the frequency of divorce in today's society, many women are finding they are all alone in doing the work of two parents -- far too often at the expense of their social lives. But for single parents, the yearning for romance doesn't fade amidst hectic schedules. eHarmony, the Internet's fastest growing relationship service, caters to single mothers with features that are safe, convenient, and comfortable for meeting eligible men who are matched with them on 29 compatible dimensions.

eHarmony lawsuit

John Claassen is taking eHarmony.com to court, because the popular online matchmaker refused to find him the perfect mate.

Why? Because he is married.

Technically, Claassen says, he is legally separated. But that's not good enough for eHarmony, which says it is in the business of matching singles "free of relationship commitments." That puts him in cyber-dating limbo.

"Most people don't file a suit to get a date," Claassen said Friday after filing a civil rights suit last week in Alameda County Superior Court. "If I had my druthers, I'd be divorced by now. I'm emotionally in a different state than I am legally," the 36-year- old Emeryville lawyer said.

eHarmony perfect matches

eHarmony is the only online relationship service dedicated to building the relationships of both singles and married couples. The site has more than 16 million registered users, and adds 10-15 thousand new users every day. eHarmony has members from all 50 states and more than 200 countries.

eHarmony profile verification

Today eHarmony announced the release of eHarmony RelyID, a new online ID verification service for eHarmony members. The service, which is a partnership with RelyID, a leading provider of age and identity verification services, gives eHarmony members the opportunity to easily validate key profile details which are viewed by other potential matches.

RelyID provides a method for members of the eHarmony community to advertise their commitment to potential matches via a simple identity verification process. Using publicly available information, RelyID validates a user's first name, last name, age, and address, though only the first name, age, and city of residence are actually displayed to other users. Once verified, a user's profile features an ever-present RelyID badge, which shows that their personal information has been verified.

Complaint about eHarmony

EHARMONY, the dating site of choice for those looking to get hitched, has a longstanding "straight people only" policy. In May, Linda Carlson sued the site because of it. Her application was denied after she tried to use the site to meet another woman.

Carlson isn't the only one peeved at eHarmony. The day she filed her complaint, the company prevailed in a lawsuit filed by a man who said the site discriminated against him for being "legally separated" from his wife. eHarmony refused his application, saying it doesn't cater to the married, only to the marriage-minded. The previous month, eHarmony took flak for rejecting the applications of short men. Apparently the site found them unlovable, or at least unprofitable.

eHarmony partners with Tealeaf

Tealeaf Technology Inc, a Customer Experience Management (CEM) company, announced on Monday (18 June) that eHarmony, an Internet relationship service, is working with Tealeaf to improve the online experience for its 15m registered users and provide actionable Ebusiness insights.

According to the company, eHarmony is using Tealeaf CX to gather website usage insights that can be utilised across the organisation. Engineering is able to detect and resolve any issues before they impact a large number of users; the Product Team can monitor website usage to improve eHarmony's offerings; the Marketing Team can see website flows through different campaigns; and the Customer Care Team can track down specific user sessions to better assist customers who report issues.

About eHarmony

n 1997, after 35 years practicing as a clinical psychologist and counseling thousands of married couples, Dr. Neil Clark Warren had come to believe that there was a better way to find love than leaving it up to chance. He knew from his experience in clinical work that although some American marriages were ending in divorce, many others were deeply satisfying unions of two fulfilled individuals. He observed that, in many cases, the marriages that endured were composed of compatible people, while marriages that deteriorated often did so because the differences between the individuals became harder to resolve over time. What if he could define the traits most likely to lead to relationship success? Could certain characteristics predict compatibility and lead to more satisfying relationships?

Dr. Warren set out to test this theory in collaboration with Dr. Galen Buckwalter, then a research professor at the University of Southern California. They sought to identify the characteristics between spouses that were consistently associated with the most successful relationships. After three years of research and development, they successfully identified the key dimensions of personality that predicted compatibility and the potential for long-term relationship success.

eHarmony success stories - Timothy and Debra

I had been using eHarmony for about eighteen months and Debbie had been using the service off and on for about five years. As you say be patient and persistent. Debbie, 37 had never been married and was not about to settle for someone who did not share her core values.

Who would have thought a twice divorced man in a wheelchair could find love with a beautiful educated and never before married woman. Thanks Dr. Warren and keep up the good work!

eHarmony success stories - Erica and James

This was my second time on eHarmony.com. I tried it once three years ago for seven months and didn't have any success. In retrospect, I thought that seven months was not enough time and decided to give this another chance, so I signed up again last year in February and registered a whole year. That is how I met James. He is the only man I have ever dated that really understands where I am coming from and what I really want, and he accepts me for who I am. He is not only my boyfriend but also a best friend...
